STEAK & STORIES
6-8 PM Great Hall
Speaker: The Rev. Blake Sawicky; Topic: “Hadrian’s Wall”
Hadrian’s Wall is the most extensive Roman ruins in the world, running eighty-four miles from the east coast to the west coast of Great Britain, and constituted the most heavily fortified border of the ancient world. This summer, Fr. Blake Sawicky walked the whole length of the wall, and at our next Steak & Stories he will share his experiences covering everything from Roman forts to Saxon churches, marauding Scots, medieval castles, and more. Cost: $20. Please RSVP by Noon on Monday, October 9 to firstname.lastname@example.org.
