Stewardship

CSMSG Giving"Having worked for the YMCA in St. Louis for over 27 years, I have learned the true meaning of the word Œmission.¹ My twenty years at CSMSG have allowed me to observe both a purpose and a mission at play within the Church. I see the commitment to the Episcopal City Mission, St. Michael¹s Houses and, of course, the Hunger Ministry. Our commitment to these services is very meaningful for all involved."

Give To Grow

The Church of St. Michael & St. George is committed to growing- spiritually
and numerically.

We want to grow spiritually so that we may better reflect Christ in our
daily lives. A life grounded in a vibrant relationship with Christ shapes
our relationships with others and brings joy to daily living.

We want to grow numerically because others also need Christ in their lives,
and new members add life and vitality to the parish.

Generous and faithful giving will make this possible.

Join us and Give To Grow. Make a generous pledge. You will be blessed, and
your generosity will bless others.

Vestry Statement

The Vestry of The Church of St. Michael and St. George affirms the
importance of stewardship to the spiritual health of the individual and the
parish, and acknowledges the tithe of ten percent of annual income as the
Biblical standard of giving to God¹s work in the world. As Vestry members,
we have been called to provide leadership to The Church of St. Michael & St.
George.

Accordingly, each member of the Vestry commits that our own pledge to The
Church of St. Michael & St. George will be the largest single annual gift we
make, and commits to a personal program of increased giving and moving
toward the tithe in 2010, it we have not yet obtained that goal. The Vestry
invites each member of The Church of St. Michael & St. George to join them
in this commitment.
