Welcome! Located in St. Louis, in the close-in suburb of Clayton, we are a parish made alive in Christ and celebrating this life through the Anglican liturgy and sacraments with vibrant preaching and teaching, and beautiful, traditional music. Ours is a welcoming community and we're extremely family-friendly.
The parish family is a lively mix of lifelong Episcopalians and members raised in a number of other denominations and religious traditions. We hope that if you haven't done so already, you'll join us soon!
Welcome to The Church of St. Michael & St. George! We're a family-friendly church with excellent preaching and teaching, We are known far and wide for the beauty of our traditional Anglican liturgy and for the excellence of our music program. We invite you to join us on a Sunday morning and get to know us. We'll be looking for you.
First of all, expect to feel welcome. When you arrive, you will be greeted at the door and given a service leaflet to help you through the next hour in church. An usher will be happy to help you find a seat.
Greeters and ushers are available to answer any questions you may have. Please feel free to sign one of the guest forms located at either door or in our coffee area to receive newcomer information.
All baptized persons are welcome to receive communion at our altar. By parish custom, the bread is received in the palm of the hand and the wine is received either from the chalice or by intinction.
A nursery is available for very young children and is located on the lower lever. Take the stairs next to St. George’s Chapel. Church school is available for children pre-school through third grade. Signs near the Wydown entrance will show you the way to our classrooms, or just ask the first friendly face you see. Children in fourth through twelfth grades are encouraged to attend church with their families and then meet in the gym with our youth minister, Isaac, and members of our youth group for fellowship discussion.
We hope to see you after the liturgy in our Great Hall for coffee and conversation. Look for the welcome sign where a member of the parish will be eager to meet you and answer any questions you may have. We will provide you with a welcome packet containing information about our services, our ministries and our community of faith.
Please contact Laurie Brown for more information at laurie@csmsg.org.
