Change, Transition, Transformation:
Dynamics of What God is Doing During These Difficult Times

The Covid19 pandemic has imposed a new way of life for all of us; added turmoil in our cities and country increase our fear and uncertainty. The impact of these conditions is and will have far-reaching effects.  What affects you the most?  What is the most challenging change you have had to make?  What will our lives and our world look like a year or two from now?  You may even be asking yourself “where is God in all of this?” or “What is God doing?” or “Does God really care?”

During this retreat, our presenter, Marian Love, will invite us to consider the personal impact these times are having on us, our families and friends, our faith communities, and our faith. We will look at Ruth and Naomi, two women of the Old Testament who went through many challenging events and transitions together. Through each challenge they were transformed by God in new ways, giving them what they needed to move forward. Can they be role models for us?  Marian will use the book:

The Story of Ruth: Twelve Moments in Every Woman’s Life by Joan Chittister.
