“A New Chapter Built on Hope & Healing”
October 8, 6:00 PM

Mark your calendar and plan to join us as we celebrate “A New Chapter in Hope and Healing” at our first VIRTUAL Moment in Time gala fundraiser – at the location of your choice! Guests will enjoy a fun evening of live and silent auctions, raffles, and much more! Watch for more details soon! Proceeds directly benefit ECM’s mission to provide hope and healing for children in St. Louis’ juvenile justice system.

Since the Detention Center has restricted visitors in order to protect the children (and staff) from COVID-19, we have modified the way we do birthday parties. Now instead of going inside, the party hosts meet the chaplain just inside the doors of the County Courts Building (105 S. Central in Clayton) with food/supplies/gifts and take pictures. Remember to wear masks and social distance! Then, the Detention Center staff meet the group with carts to transport and distribute the food, goodie bags, and gifts to the children.

Attached are updated Birthday Party guidelines with modifications during the COVID-19 quarantine at the detention centers.

This new method is definitely not as much fun for us, but the parties are still important to the children. And now more than ever they need every bit of support we can give them!
