The Hunger Ministry is in the Spotlight this Sunday.
The Hunger Ministry provides a variety of ways to help those in need of food in our community:

• On the third Saturday of each month in the Taylor Room volunteer to make sandwiches and fill lunch sacks for Gateway 180, Trinity Episcopal Food Ministry and Trinity Lutheran in Soulard. Casseroles are also made for Trinity. Preparation begins at 9:30 followed by sandwich and casserole making; finished by 10:30 – 10:45.
• Donate food: When grocery shopping, please consider adding one or two non-perishable items to your cart. Place items in either Hunger Ministry closets outside of the Taylor Room. These donations will go to the Trinity Episcopal Food Pantry or to Arthur Johnson Community Outreach.
• Make casseroles at home. Pans, lids, directions and suggested recipes are in Arthur Johnson Community Outreach closet outside Taylor Room doors.
• Donate money to cover monthly sandwich and casserole expenses averaging $410.00 (2023) a month.*
• Donate money that will be given to five churches with food pantries: Holy Cross Episcopal Church, Trinity Episcopal Church Food Ministry, Sts. Peter & Paul Community Services, Person to Person Street Ministry, the Arthur R. Johnson Community Outreach and Trinity Lutheran in Soulard.*
