It is an exciting time of growth for music at The Church of St. Michael & St. George. With a worldclass new pipe organ and greater numbers of singers, we are poised for expansion. As of September 2026, our program now consists of four choirs: St. Michael’s Parish Choir, St. George’s Consort, Senior Choristers, and Junior Choristers.

St. Michael’s Parish Choir (SMPC) is the largest of the ensembles and is the backbone of the program. This choir consists of professional section leaders, committed teen boys and girls, and adult volunteers. The focus is classic standard Anglican anthems, Anglican Chant, and evening canticle settings. Rehearsals are approximately three Wednesday evenings a month, with services approximately three Sunday mornings a month and at least one Evensong a month. Group size is 26-30 singers.

St. George’s Consort (SGC) will focus on unaccompanied early music and do major works in concert, such as the Duruflé Requiem, Stainer Crucifixion, and other projects. Services are approximately one Sunday morning and one Evensong a month. A core of SMPC section leaders is supplemented by outstanding choral singers from the St. Louis area. Group size is 15-16 singers.
