“Neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” – Romans 8:38
The liturgy for the dead is an Easter liturgy, deriving its meaning in the resurrection. Because Jesus was raised from the dead, we too shall be raised.

It is important and a measure of concern for those we love to make plans for our own funeral and/or memorial. If you would like information on our columbarium or pre-arranging a funeral or a memorial, please contact the receptionist at 314.721.1502.

COLUMBARIUM

As our Rector, the Rev. Andrew Archie notes, “Having your cremains inurned at our parish is something very spiritually different than being buried in a cemetery. Medieval Christians believed that the communities of the living and the dead were engaged in an ongoing conversation. This ongoing relationship is emphasized in the landscape of our campus. The remains of the dead are an integral part of our community. Their memory is encouraged by their proximity.”

If you would like information on a niche in our beautiful columbaria for a family member or for yourself, please e-mail Sonya Woolley or call her at 314.721.1502.
