The PARISH Choir
The Choir of The Church of St. Michael & St. George sings the liturgies of the Holy Eucharist, Morning Prayer, and Evensong, as well as special seasonal services. CSMSG’s is a professional choir whose members are comprehensively auditioned. The Choir is comprised of students from Washington University, Webster University, and other institutions of higher education, as well as professionals from the bi-state region of the greater St. Louis metropolitan area. The Choir sings Psalms (to both plainsong and Anglican Chant), settings of the Mass Ordinary, canticles, anthems, and motets drawn from all periods of music history while emphasizing music from The Church of St. Michael & St. George’s own rich Anglican heritage.

All women of the parish, aged 15 and up, are invited to join CSMSG’s newest choir, the Miriam Choir, directed by Assistant Choirmaster Katie Beyers. This is a volunteer choir that will sing repertoire for treble voices. The Miriam Choir will sing at the 10:00 AM Holy Eucharist one Sunday each month with a rehearsal scheduled for the preceding Wednesday evening.
